ISRAEL'S LEAKED PLAN: SEIZE 3 LEBANESE CITIES. 

BEIRUT — November 3, 2026 — Israel’s military released footage of a room displaying Hezbollah imagery and said soldiers discovered weapons inside a civilian home near Al-Khiam in southern Lebanon. The November 1 release coincided with reporting about possible Israeli advances into three Lebanese cities if Hezbollah joins renewed fighting involving Iran.

The IDF attributed the searches to its 769th Brigade, operating under the 91st Division. Its Hebrew announcement was dated November 1; an English version appeared the following day. The military described the operation as part of efforts to remove threats within its security zone.

The published material combines images of a room described as a children’s bedroom with accounts of weapons discoveries around Al-Khiam.

The Jerusalem Post reported that the video showed posters featuring former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Its account, citing the military, described guns, ammunition magazines and equipment found in the same house.

Additional weapons listed in the coverage included rockets, Kalashnikov-pattern rifles, ammunition and explosive drones found at other locations in the security zone.

The IDF also said troops located and dismantled an explosive-drone storage facility. Its announcement presented the searches and destruction as operations against Hezbollah infrastructure.

Separately, Lebanese media reported that Israeli newspaper Maariv had described preparations for a broader operation if Hezbollah intervenes in another conflict involving Iran.

Naharnet’s account identified Tyre, Sidon and Nabatieh as cities that Israeli forces could seek to occupy. It also described possible strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs and naval blockades affecting Beirut and Tripoli.

According to that coverage, the Israeli navy could assume a larger role while aircraft were committed to operations against Iran.

For Lebanese communities, the immediate concern is how continued searches, demolitions and possible advances could affect their homes. For Israel, the military says its operations address threats to civilians and troops while maintaining its commitment to the ceasefire.
