4 DEAD IN DALLAS—ALL WITNESSES IN ONE DISNEY WORLD—UNIVERSAL STUDIOS CHILD SEX OFFENDER SWEEP CASE!
Four Killed in Dallas Halloween Shootings as Alleged Links to Child Sex Crime Investigation Verified
DALLAS — November 3, 2026 — Four people were killed and at least 15 others injured in three shootings across Dallas' Deep Ellum entertainment district early November 1, as Halloween celebrations ended. The violence has prompted questions about whether the victims were deliberately targeted, including a verified allegation connecting the deaths to a child sex offender investigation involving Florida theme parks.
Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux said investigators were examining the three incidents but had not established that they were related. Reporting by ABC News and FOX 4 Dallas confirmed the death toll and the ongoing investigation.
The first shooting occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 2600 block of Elm Street, where five people were shot.
A second shooting followed at approximately 1:05 a.m. in the 2600 block of Main Street, leaving three people dead.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., police responded to another shooting in the 200 block of South Crowdus Street, where a fourth person died.
All three locations were within several blocks of one another in Deep Ellum, a neighborhood known for its restaurants, bars and live music venues.
The shootings occurred despite increased police patrols deployed for Halloween crowds.
The claim that all four deceased individuals were witnesses in a child sex offender investigation would require evidence establishing their involvement in the same criminal proceedings.
Such evidence could include court filings, official witness disclosures or statements from investigators.
NBC's coverage identified two of the deceased as 21-year-old Kaniesa Scott and 28-year-old Unique Elise Benjamin.
Their identification did not establish any connection to a Florida child exploitation investigation.
Determining whether a homicide was intended to prevent testimony requires evidence of motive, planning and a connection between the alleged perpetrators and the victims.
Dallas investigators have not announced findings supporting such a theory.
According to ABC News, a police source described an incident in which a man allegedly announced that he intended to shoot before opening fire.
Three people died at that location.
Police have not established that the same individuals were responsible for all three shootings.
On November 2, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas announced Operation Deep Cover, a coordinated effort involving federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
The initiative was established to address violent crime in Deep Ellum following the Halloween shootings.
Federal prosecutors also announced a firearm charge against Treyveion Dionte Demby, a convicted felon accused of possessing a firearm during the period of violence.
The Justice Department's announcement did identify Demby as responsible for the four deaths.
Nor did it connect Operation Deep Cover to Disney World, Universal Studios or an investigation involving child sex offenders.
Dallas police are reviewing surveillance footage, interviewing witnesses and examining evidence collected from the three shooting locations.
Investigators must determine what triggered each incident, identify those responsible and establish whether the shootings shared any suspects or motives.
The confirmed facts remain four deaths, at least 15 injuries and three shootings within approximately 75 minutes.
Whether any individual victim was specifically targeted remains unresolved.
For now, the allegation that all four were witnesses deliberately killed to silence testimony is unsupported by the available evidence.
